BRADFORD City have issued banning orders against three fans over their behaviour, with two more people expected to face the same action following checks with police.

Two of those banned by the club will not be allowed back for five years. A man previously subjected to a Football Banning Order still threatened a steward as part of a tirade of foul and abusive language.

That was a result of the steward requesting they did not drink alcohol within sight of the pitch.

A person who ran onto the pitch during the home game against Reading was arrested at the time and has also been banned for five years.

A further fan who sprayed a steward with tomato ketchup at the same match has been banned until the end of June.

However, a person arrested and charged by Thames Valley Police for allegedly racially abusing a Reading player will be banned for life if found guilty.

The club said: "This type of behaviour is totally unacceptable to everyone within the Club and the vast majority of its supporters."

A person who used social media to say he planned to take pyrotechnics into the Madejski Stadium was searched and found to have a pyrotechnic will be banned for five years.

The Club hopes that by issuing these Club bans, it will remove a small number of fans who are not wanted.
