POSTAL workers at Royal Mail delivery offices in Bradford will be trained to spot victims of scam mail schemes.
The national Scams and Fraud Education for Residents (SAFER) Project is a three-year Big Lottery-funded scheme. It educates older adults most at risk. Someone falling for scams may get lots of junk mail, phone calls from strangers, and withdraw or spend lots of money.
Councillor Val Slater (pictured), of West Yorkshire Trading Standards Committee, said: “We can offer them support and advice when they need it most.”
