THE principal of a flagship Bradford free school has this afternoon been sacked following a disciplinary investigation.
Sajid Raza Hussain, the founder of Kings Science Academy, is currently on police bail for suspected fraud after being arrested in January.
The school has announced on its website that Jane Tiller will continue to be the Executive Interim Principal until the end of the year. She was originally brought in to steer the school until September after Mr Raza stood down.
A statement from the chairman of governors John Bowers adds: "The Academy will continue to be supported by the Bradford Partnership.
"The Trustees and Governors have asked the Department for Education to find a suitable multi-academy trust for the Academy to join and, have asked the Department to identify a suitable partner."
