Weird and wacky bicycles delighted visitors to a Shipley event held in honour of the Tour de France.
Allez Shipley, which was held on Saturday, was inspired by the Grand Depart in Yorkshire in July. But it involved some very different bikes to what will feature in the famous race.
There were unicycles, miniature bikes, and a penny farthing, as well as a Golden Bike Statue, balloon modelling, a circus, and the start of a treasure hunt where the prizes are three bikes.
Barry Cooper, chairman of Shipley Business Partnership, said: “The bike hunt runs over several weeks so there is plenty of time for people to get involved in the fun.”
Clues will be hidden in shop windows and a free entry form can be picked up from local shops and businesses, Shipley Library and the town hall.
The competition will end on Saturday, June 21.
