St Mary’s School, Menston, has been awarded Fairtrade Schools Status after a lot of hard work from students and staff.
To qualify for the award, the school had to meet five goals, including setting up a Fairtrade student group and adopting a Fairtrade Policy. The Fairtrade Award was presented to the school by Stuart Andrew MP in a special assembly to celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight.
