Fire crews helped prevent a blaze outside a convenience store in Bradford from spreading to the building.
At 5.43am today engines from Fairweather Green and Bradford were called to a shop on Kensington Street, and when they arrived found that cardboard boxes in the front of the store on fire.
The blaze had melted a canopy over the shop and part of the building’s guttering, and caused one of its windows to crack.
Firefighters said no-one was injured. The family that run the shop had not realised there was a fire outside the property.
