Police are investigating the suspicious death of an elderly woman who collapsed after damage was caused to her Bradford home last night.
Officers were called shortly after 6pm to reports of damage to an address in Fair Road, Wibsey.
The 84-year-old female occupant, named by police today as Joyce Moulson, subsequently collapsed and was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary where she later died.
Officers are investigating the circumstances and are examining CCTV footage from the area.
Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Chief Inspector Simon Atkinson, said: “We received reports that three male youths had thrown stones at the address which had smashed a glass door panel.
“The elderly occupant collapsed around ten minutes later and was transported to Bradford Royal Infirmary during which period she sadly died.”
A post-mortem examination was due to be held later today to establish the exact cause of Mrs Moulson's death.
