Skipton-born writer Blake Morrison is returning to Yorkshire to talk about his new play about the Bronte sisters.
The novelist, journalist, poet and critic will be in Haworth as part of the Bronte Parsonage Museum’s contemporary arts programme.
He will talk about his latest novel and his upcoming play We Are Three Sisters, being staged for theatre company Northern Broadsides. It will tour theatres around the country later this year.
Blake Morrison worked as a literary editor for national newspapers before becoming a full-time writer in 1995. He has published two memoirs, Things My Mother Never Told Me and And When Did You Last See Your Father? which was made into a film starring Colin Firth and Jim Broadbent.
