A 51-year-old woman has died after she involved in a collision with a car in the early hours of the morning.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the accident which happened on Whitehall Road, near to the Wyke Lion pub, Wyke, shortly after 1.10am yesterday.
A Toyota IQ2 was being driven along Huddersfield Road, towards Bradford, when it collided with the female pedestrian at the junction, known locally as the Hellfire Crossroads.

The woman suffered serious injuries and died a short time later.
Sergeant Matthew Tunney, of the Major Collision and Enquiry Team, said: "I am appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident and in particular anyone who saw either the vehicle or the pedestrian, who was thought to be with another person at the time, immediately before the incident to get in contact."
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said the driver remained at the scene.
