IT’S gameday with a twist at Keighley RUFC today, as Yorkshire Academy take on Sale Sharks Academy in what proves to an intriguing fixture between the two rivals.
The visitors currently sit 2nd, while Yorkshire sit at the foot of the Premiership Rugby U18 Academy League (North Group), meaning the hosts have another tricky task in trying to turn their recent form around (three defeats on the bounce).
Moreover, there is plenty of local interest in the Yorkshire Academy side that is heading to Keighley today to play their fifth game of the season.
Five individuals from Woodhouse Grove, which is where Bradford City train, have made the squad to face Sale today.
The quintet in question are Callum Hyland-Dugbo, Thomas Rowe, captain Alfie Longstaff, Archie Hurford and Oscar Binns.
Proceedings get underway at 2pm this afternoon at Keighley Rugby Club.
